Unfortunately sometimes patients do not attend for their appointments. This may be due to a number of factors. In a recent search of our systems we found that in one week alone 29 patients did not turn up for their appointment. As there is a very high demand on the appointment slots that we have available this is a very serious waste of our resources which ultimately affects you as a patient. We very much appreciate it if you would contact us to cancel an appointment well in advance so we can offer your appointment to another patient. We therefore ask that if you cannot attend please contact us by telephone anytime from 8.30am to 6pm, or by e-mail email@example.com. Or you can text us if you wish to cancel an appointment. You just need to text your name, date of birth and name of person you have appointment with to 0774 509 3174.
When you make an appointment please set yourself a little reminder so you are less likely to forget. Remember the next time you require an appointment you may get one of those cancelled slots!
